My younger son wanted to see it as a birthday treat and really enjoyed it, so I feel more well disposed towards the film - partly because I'm so grateful that he doesn't want to watch Disney movies. But objectively, it was a load of old tosh and I can't say I'd bother watching it again.

DeleteSaw Lion King for the first time at Christmas and enjoyed a very sweet (and moralising) film.
