I have just read of your brother's death and am sending condolences. You will always miss him and the ache never goes but you get used to the ache and learn to live with it. Time does help although you will probably find that hard to believe at the moment. My thoughts are with you.

DeleteAfter the previous post, I had to have a look at the cards here. The fancier card store nearby had no First Communion cards in stock. One drug store had a couple, and though they were nothing special as art, they were far plainer, and distinctly religious in their look and text.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, among Roman Catholics, First Communion generally precedes Confirmation by some years.
I am glad to hear that some standards are being kept up in Washington
