My Idea of Hell
Walking up Collins Street behind two businessmen at lunch time, I heard one say to the other, "What I really like about it is the continuous flow of feedback that everyone is getting all the time now."
Not only that, but, at this point in time, it is cool how the flow of information always keeps coming in a constant uninterrupted way, all of the time, without stopping.
Somebody ought to interrupt his continuous flow of feedback, but good.
'Everyone' means that for all of us, I suppose, Denis, but I'm glad I'm not part of that 'everyone'. Gadjo, you weren't listening at the meetings, when we discussed it, obviously - the strategic implementation of it is ongoing and stakeholders are responding positively to the incremental change it brings. At this point in time and going forward, Chris. It probably indicates my level of paranoia, Gaw, but I tend to think feedback is just another word for feeling free to make personal remarks, whereas I regard this as polite discussion (or something). Polly - thank you for your feedback. I will have someone get back to you in the near future.
I think he meant 'continuous flow of feed.' 'Everyone,' of course, means everyone who counts in the life of two businessmen walking up Collins St.
ReplyDeleteDo try to follow him and find out what 'it' is.

Aren't these comments a continuous flow of feedback?
ReplyDeleteWill you be in Melbourne this weekend???
